adidas ObyO 7 Hole Boot – Kazuki

Two words: Kazuki Kuraishi. Adidas Originals teamed up with the Japanese designer once again to create the Adidas Originals by Originals 7 Hole Boot. The Boot comes in two classic colorways: black/blue and brown/yellow. As perhaps the best boot to release this year, the 7 Hole Boot uses premium weathered leather in black and brown, respectively, with the 3 stripes re-vamped and placed further towards the ankle. The upper also features a protruding leather design to enforce a rugged look for the boot, which uses a sneaker sole. The bottom is white on the midsole and luxuriously translucent on the outsole. Adidas SLVR 7 Piece

When Adidas said they planned to bridge the gap between the originals and the Y3 most either responded with skepticism or did not care enough to respond. Here’s an interesting new look. Typically running shoes are done in suede, leather or mesh for their durability and structural elements. But when the purpose of a shoe is removed from its construction you have room to play around and create something conceptual.The adidas ZX77 in canvas does just that.Done in black canvas with white accents the shoe is a part of the A.039 collection and the material of choice gives the shoe a very clean aesthetic. adidas Originals ZX77 “A.039 Coll

For the upcoming adidas Originals “A.039 Collection,� this ZX 8000 uses a new material construction we haven’t seen on this silhouette just yet, which has transformed it into the ZX 77.The standard construction of this shoe usually is leather, with bits of mesh interspersed on the toe box and ankle area. Instead, canvas is the only material used, outside of the plastic heel cup done in midsole-matching white. Along the midfoot, the eyelet piece that is normally plastic has also been changed in favor of black canvas.
