What better way to endure the latest winter storm to hit the Northeastern coast of United States than these. The new entry for adidas Originals by Originals (ObyO) series is the Marathon TR Mid. Designed by UNDFTD’s James Bond for soccer icon David Beckham, the Marathon TR Mid is an interesting composite of ruggized leather and lightweight mesh. All lined with the “marquee deterrence� of elements Mother Nature throws at you - Gore-Tex. But the most unique aspect is the part less seen, the Marathon’s outsole - the all too familiar adidas Originals Trifoils logo stacked sequentially to become rugged outsole treads. Accentuate the design is reflective adidas 3 stripes and hidden stash pocket on tongue. I am going to deem this adidas Originals day here at KicksOnFire. It seeems like every other post today has to do with them. The latest installment for the Originals camp is the Marathon TR Mid Gore-Tex from the James Bond for David Beckham.Designed by UNDFTDâ€â„¢s James Bond for soccer icon David Beckham, the Marathon TR Mid is uses a combination of ruggized leather and lightweight mesh for the upper. The colorway is all black with the exception of the laces and the adidas Trefoil on the tongue. The Marathon’s outsole is the most distinctive part characteristic of the shoe. As seen here, the outsole pattern is the adidas Originals Trifoils logo tripple stacked around the exterior of the sole. Add in some Gore-Tex and you are in the game for a ruggized sneaker/boot.
