Two classic brands from two different industries, Vespa and adidas Originals, had come together to create some collaborative items that combine their cool retro styling into a comprehensive collection. New from this collaboration is the Vespa New Mid which features adidas Originals’ sneakers with classic Italian Vespa designs. The Vespa New Mid carries some impressive details that are translated from Vespa scooters onto the shoes. Slits in the back ankle panel resemble vents and fenders; stripes and white canvas piping accents resemble the silhouette of the scooter; to top it off, a silver Vespa hardware adorns the side of the sneaker–in the same strategic position the hardware is usually placed on the moped.The insoles feature both adidas Originals and Vespa logos just like the sole bottoms. The insides are lined with retro blue and tan stripes on white canvas, and the shoes are crafted from a mix of canvas and leather upper in black.
