You should all know by now that TY from Leaders1354 is defiantly on point when it comes to the previews of upcoming releases. In the past month or so he has shown us a grip of new releases coming our way either later this year or sometime in 2010.The latest preview from TY comes in the form of a classic adidas model, the Rod Laver. The Rod Laver has been around around for almost 40 years and to this day it still remains a classic in the adidas lineup. One of the newest colorways of the Rod Laver coming our way is this white/blue colorup which features the use of suede, leather and nylon materials. The Stan Smith is one of adidas most iconic models and as apart of their Consortium Project its getting a 5 way makeover. DQM, LimitEDitions, UNDFTD and VA link up to for this one resulting in 5 very limited models set to drop at Consortium stores this August and September. The shoes themselves came out clean and it makes picking a favorite that much harder. In honor of the epic collaboration each tongue has the handshake logo to signify the partnership of the Consortium on this project. Check em for yourself and let us know which ones you like the best. Adidas Consortium Rod Laver Collect

Sometimes I am convinced that I have seen all there is when it comes to sneakers, especially when thinking of colorways. In a weird way the Adidas Consortium Rod Laver Collection proves me right but in a very good way. The second teaser picture, seen here, shows a classic sneaker silhouette with vibrant colorways we are used to; black and white, red and yellow, brown and tan, metallic and white, all of which create a connection with classic and timelessness. Add the fact that these are Adidas and sell them in very limited numbers; now you have yourself an equation that comes out to something incredible.Via: FNG close
