Adidas Originals - 5 Individuals

New Zealand retailer Qubic hosted an Adidas Originals party last week, celebrating their ObyO line.In addition, they asked 5 international sneaker enthusiasts to participate by designing their own pair of an Adidas throwback.All five came up with something different, drawing inspiration from different sources within their lives, and putting forth their own footwear philosophy. adidas ORIGINALS BY QUBIC 5 Shoes

The ORIGINALS by QUBIC campaign has been capped off nicely by Frank Liew who is offering up a closer look at the designs of himself, Woody from Sneaker Freaker, Chris Lewis, Kevin Downie and Sean Aickin. The 5 designs are shown in better detail and described more vividly here. Via Hypebeast close

adidas Originals x 55DSL - XV/55 |

While released earlier in August in Japan via Openers, the much buzzed about and anticipated collaboration between adidas Originals and 55DSL, the XV/55, will be released in London at the 55DSL store in the trendy quarters of Newburgh. Based on the Nizza Hi and created to commemorate the 15th Anniversary of 55DSL, the kicks keep it retro and laid back in a classic, can-do-no-wrong, red, white and blue (also the signature colors of 55DSL). The shoes will be released tomorrow for all at 6pm, so drop by 55DSL in Newburgh for your pair and fill up that XV/55-shaped hole in your shoe closet. adidas ZX 95 Run Torsions

With releases like the Torsion Low Gore-Tex, adidas has been making strides to cover all of your outerwear needs. This time around, adidas re-focuses the attention on runners with these two pairs of ZX 95 Run Torsion’s. One pair sports a black/dark grey base with orange and different green accents that stand out on the subtle base color. A second pair operates in sort of the same way- with pink and blue highlights on a predominantly light brown upper. Running Fashion: adidas ZX 95 Run T

With the recent resurgence of running as a sport, more and more enthusiasts have also gotten sneaker-conscious. Well, with these latest additions from adidas, it sure will end the dilemma. This colorful duo of a collection feature a combination of subtle and vibrant highlights with the neutral black to balance everything out.  One set has a combination of light brown,olive, and purple, while the other set features a black, green, and orange combination.With the addition of these two to the adidas ZX 95 Run Torsion pack, two other older pairs were dropped from the roster.  Both sets are now available in select adidas stores and retailers worldwide. close
