NBA Feet: adidas TS Series Hallowee

Aside from the obvious (in some cases unavoidable) similarities in design that all basketball shoes are bound to share, adidas does a good job of pretty much never appearing to bite Nike’s steez, or anyone else’s for that matter.  Their bold use of Three Stripes on the side panels in recent years has been bolstered by dudes who can back it up like Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. Count Tim-may amongst the group of adi-sponsored ballers who rocked a crazy Halloween edition of the adidas TS Commander this past weekend.  Much like the Nike Blazer released with lenticular holigram tarsals, these take the white-on-black stripe motif to its logical extreme, revealing white ‘bones’ beneath the black upper.  Peep Duncan’s Commanders with the X-Ray look, along with up-and-coming adidas NBA guys like Deshawn Stephensen (not giving up a game winner, for once), Aaron Afflalo and Brooke Lopez after the jump.  via KenluRead the rest of NBA Feet: adidas TS Series Halloween Edition© Sneaker News, 2009. |Permalink |No comment |Add todel.icio.us close

Adidas Metro Attitude Hi – White

Whenever you hear about the Adidas Metro Attitude, you know the shoe will live up to its name. The Adidas Metro Attitude Hi comes in a colorful white/black/green/blue colorway, utilizing a white leather base to mix nicely with the other colors. The offsetting colors are set using premium leather to make for a premium shoe. These colorful sneakers are available now online overseas at Schuh-You for $143, so perhaps it’d be a good idea to find them at your local Adidas retailer. close

Jeremy Scott x adidas Metro Attitud

Has there been a Jeremy Scott x Adidas collaboration that hasn’t at least caught your attention slightly (see Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals “J Wings” Metallic Silver)? When both sides get together, you can expect a very unique product such as this adidas Metro Attitude Hi “Beverly Hills”.As seen on some of their previous collaborative efforts, Jeremy Scott and Adidas decided to get real creative with the tongue design. This time, they created the tongue in the shape of a Beverly Hills license plate. As for the color scheme, this shoe owns a predominately white leather base with minimal yellow details on the Adidas logo (side panels), inner lining and various sections on the enlarged tongue. Jeremy Scott x Adidas Metro Attitud

The man is back at it once again and just like anyone would expect from him the results are quite good. Of course we are talking about the one and only Jeremy Scott and his new work on the Jeremy Scott x Adidas Metro Attitude Hi Beverly Hills. Just like they usually do when they get together on a project, Jeremy Scott and Adidas spent a lot of time making a creative and interesting design for the tongue, this time creating the tongue in the shape of a Beverly Hills license plate. The colorway on this shoe is actually quite simple compared to some of the other shoes that Adidas is known for making with Mr. Scott, with this one being predominantly white with minimal yellow accents on places like the Adidas stripes and the inner lining of the shoe. This is one shoe that we are definitely getting excited over. close

Jeremy Scott x adidas Metro Attitud

One could say that Jeremy Scott and adidas have been getting pretty cozy. They already blew us away with the Spring/Summer 2010 JS Wings Sneaker, so it was only a matter of time before they stepped to the plate again.Not to be outdone, they have collaborated on the adidas Metro Attitude Hi “Beverly Hills.” Using a simple white/yellow colorway, the most obvious design aesthetic of the shoe is the gigantic tongue. Meant to be shaped like the Beverly Hill’s license plates we see in all the movies, the tongue definitely shapes the rest of the white leather hi-top. Almost as an after-thought, adidas through in some yellow accents for the 3-Stripe on the midpanel and the shoe’s lining. After all is said and done, the shoe gives off classic hip-hop feel. So how do you guys feel about the big tongue?
