Hello Kitty x Asics GEL-Lyte Speed

The cute cartoon characters that are not strictly for kids are everywhere and they have invaded even your sneakers!  The Hello Kitty x Asics GEL-Lyte Speed is proof that your favorite Hello Kitty and her friends are omnipresent. They are indeed present everywhere.The Hello Kitty x Asics GEL-Lyte Speed has the Hello Kitty print all over the upper but it’s not just pink all over, because you get the Hello Kitty shoe in pink and blue color scheme.The Asics logo on the sides is in pink and there’s also a hint of pink on the outsole. This is balanced by the white laces and the blue design on the sides of the sneaker. If you think you don’t have enough pink on the shoe then take a look at the pink stars on the heel and you will thin otherwise.The sneaker trends may be going for the tonal uppers nowadays, but the Hello Kitty x Asics GEL-Lyte Speed is going the other way, with its busy and colourful design all over.Watch out for your favorite Kitty at your favorite Sanrio stores in Hawaii, San Francisco and New York City this November. close

Asics Gel Lyte Speed “Grey Gooseâ

Asics Gel-Lyte Speed - Grey Goose

Finally a shoe to match your drink of choice! Just kidding, and while we are not sure why this one is called the ‘Grey Goose’ we are sure this is a pretty slick design. When hasn’t a tonal grey upper worked anyway? Factor in the hits of 3M laced throughout the heel and all that’s left to discuss is the element that makes this one a clear cut above the rest. The barber pole like  heel cap and laces are the star of this story and give this runner a nice touch of originality. Via SneakerFreaker close

Asics Gel Lyte Speed - Grey Goose

Set to release next month is the Asics Gel Lyte Speed - Grey Goose. The shoe features a all grey colorway with both white/red stripes on the laces and as-well of the mid-sole of the sneakers. I personally love the whole concept but maybe not so much for the white/red on the mid-sole, either way Asics is a great brand that is headed the right direction. No retail price on these yet but we are guessing it will be priced at the same price of other past Asics Gel Lyte Speed. close
