Thanks to Schuh-You we have obtained some detailed pictures of a new adidas Conductor Hi which pays homage to the days when Patrick Ewing use to rock the Conductor Hi during his days with the NY Knicks.The adidas Conductor Hi ‘New York Knicks’ uses a classic Knicks inspired colorway with a white base, plenty of blue accents and a splash of orange around the adidas three stripe logo and around the top of the tongue. The year was 1987 and Patrick Ewing was making heavy noise rocking the Adidas Conductor Hi. Now to show their respects to The Garden, NYC, The Knicks, and even Ewing, Adidas is giving us these. words & images_Nick DePaulaThis summer, adidas plans to release their latest hoops shoe aimed at both lightweight performance as well as off-court style with the Drop Top. The Drop Top, seen here in  black/black, features two prominent straps along the midfoot that can be worn down, up or however you may please. The collar can be adjusted to your liking as well in the versatile sneaker, as it continues the design direction that adidas Basketball has taken recently with less emphasis placed on striping up the midfoot.With a full herringbone outsole and EVA midsole, the Drop Top sits low with its double-lasted construction. Along the all black colorway, you’ll find a mix of nubuck, semi-gloss leather and faux croc skin along the midfoot straps. Adidas Conductor Hi - New York Knic

While Run DMC was popularizing the shell-toe, Patrick Ewing was off making the Conductor Hi one of the brands most revered shoes. The New York Knicks’ contribution to sneaker history is touched upon with this remake of his classic shoe. The all white upper sports blue hits with a few orange accents. Not sure when these will be on shelves but chances are they will be available anywhere an adidas retailer can be found. Via Shuh You close

adidas Nizza Hi Rainbow Zip

While the Nizza sounds like it could easily fit in with the Gza or the Rza it is not infact a member of the Wu-Tang Clan. It is a staple of the adidas brand and it has been remixed. The typically leather shoe is draped in black canvas and given multicolored zippers in place of the 3-Stripe logo. Contrast piping on the eyelettes and midsole round this hi top sneaker out nicely and make it a pretty ill drop. Via atmos close
