The German company chooses to evoke thoughts of America the beautiful with this one dropping via both a Pro Model and Superstar. The Pro Model reads more like a pin stripped mid while the Superstar is undeniably American with its blue panels, red stripes, white stars and gold accents. words & images_Nick DePaulaYesterday we brought you the new adidas Drop Top in white/black & black/black, and today we have a look at two more versions of the off-court hoops shoe that will begin releasing this August. In Medium Lead/Royal and Navy/Grey, these versions of the Drop Top take on more color and textures than yesterday’s more basic renditions. Made up of a semi-gloss synthetic rand, nubuck and faux croc skin, the Medium Lead version is set off by its white outsole and hits of royal blue. Along the Navy based version, you’ll find navy patent leather atop the two customizable midfoot straps, as well as a rich reptilian synthetic along the rand that encircles the entire shoe.
