adidas Young Guns – 2010 Release

A recent release in the adidas Top Ten high with black crocodile-like material definitely got the attention of several sneakerheads who liked the simple colorway with material detailing. Now, adidas is showing us something new for 2010. Pictured here is the adidas Young Guns silhouette, which will be reportedly introduced in the spring. This sneaker comes with a patent leather upper and a strap that drapes over the lower portion of the shoe laces area. Furthermore, you can also see a sort of revolutionized version of the adidas three stripes, which come in a more swooping trajectory. This particular pair sports a predominantly black base, with a white midsole and both purple and yellow accents. Don’t be surprised to see these on the feet of some NBA athletes under contract with adidas- a.k.a. NOT Gilbert Arenas. What are your thoughts on this new adidas design? close

Preview: adidas Young Guns 2010 Low

We previously gave you a look at the adidas Young Guns 2010. Here is a preview of the low-cut version of the shoe. Aside from a lower collar, the adidas Young Guns 2010 Low retains the same design as the high version from which it descended.This color-up is predominately black with hits of red and white in the sole and stripes. More colorways are sure to come as adidas holds the NBA uniform licensing and will create plenty kicks to match the various NBA team colors. Furthermore, this low will likely see a lot of playing time in the “L” as low-cut basketball shoes are the current vogue. adidas will drop this original silhouette, the Young Guns 2010, this Spring. From a technical perspective, the shoe sports adiPRENE+ for cushioning, ClimaCool for breathability, and a midfoot strap for lockdown. Cosmetically, the shoe is draped up and dripped out in patent leather and is branded with a sweeping three stripes.Expect to start seeing these shoes on the feet of NBA players within the adidas Brotherhood. This shoe features adiPRENE+ for an extra amount of cushioning as well as ClimaCool for breathability. A midfoot strap comes included as well for better lockdown of the shoe and to provide a more snug fit. As far as the overall looks of the shoe, it will feature an ample amount of patent leather all over the upper and of course the patented three stripe pattern that Adidas is so well known for. These will soon start popping up on the feet of a handful of NBA players so you will get a chance to see them in action before deciding on whether to make the purchase or not. It will be interesting to see all of the colorways that release for players across all of the different teams. close
