Nike Air Trainer III - Transformers

Back in 2007, Nike created a Transformers edition of the Air Trainer III to coincide with the release of the first live-action movie, and while the shoe was relatively well-received, this sample version would have made them so much more legit. To the casual glance, this look-see sample is not all that different from the version that was released, but a closer look reveals one glaring difference. Apparently, when the shoe was originally designed, it featured a large Autobots logo on the tongue of the right shoe. Due to legal matters, Nike was forced to remove the logo before the shoe was released, but now this sample has surfaced to show us all what we missed out on. The good news is that if you are a size 9 and you’re ready to drop some dough on them, this sample pair is available now on eBay. Nike Air Trainer III - Transformers

Remember these? Nike dropped them to go along with the Transformers movie that dropped a few years ago. Well every sneaker has a sample and alot of times that sample is slightly different making them even that much more special. These Transformer Air Trainer III’s have one glaring difference in the design and that is the huge Autobots logo on the right tongue. Nike had to pull the design element due to legal issues but now for your viewing pleasure photos have surfaced. Redman x adidas Superstar II - Def

As we have previously reported, in honor of the 25th Anniversary of Def Jam the corporate heads have hooked up with adidas to put together a lineup of sneakers, some of which have been designed by artists signed to Def Jam. When it comes to the kicks designed by the artists we have previously taken a look at the Young Jeezy x adidas Forum and the Ghostface Killah x adidas Forum.Adding to the collection is an adidas Superstar II designed by Redman. The sneakers feature a hearty red suede upper with the adidas signature three stripes in black. The toe is white and little specs of red are included on the white outsole that take you back to Redmans debut LP “Whut? Thee Album. The tongue tag sports an image of Redman with his name printed below him in silver and the heel tab features the adidas logo as well as “Funk Doc” in silver. Adidas Superstar II x Redman

American rapper and actor, Reginald Noble a.k.a. “Redman” joined Adidas in touching up a pair of Superstar II. With the sneaker’s classic White midsole and shell-toe design, Redman added some Red splatters on it in honor of his debut LP, Whut? Thee Album. Red suede covers the upper with a leather heel cap and an embossed “REDMAN” is found on the back portion of the midsole. adidas Superstar II – Redman

Redman, born as Reginald “Reggie” Noble, is an iconic figure in the American rap scene, and adidas has decided to honor the rap legend with his own colorway of the Superstar II. This colorway hosts a red suede upper accented by an orange midsole stripe, three black stripes, a white toebox, black inner lining, and a white midsole. A couple other key aspects of this Superstar II include the image of Redman on the tongue, Redman inscribed into the heel, as well as “Funk Doc” on the rear.
