The German company chooses to evoke thoughts of America the beautiful with this one dropping via both a Pro Model and Superstar. The Pro Model reads more like a pin stripped mid while the Superstar is undeniably American with its blue panels, red stripes, white stars and gold accents. Nike SB Pro Model - Oman Salazar 20

Here is a preview of the Nike SB which is set to release on March 2010. This Omar Salazar’s introduction into the line of Pro Model SB features suede upper and the first time to be seen in an SB, the Nike’s cutting edge Flywire technology. And to specialize this SB’s signature shoe, â€Å"Salazarâ€Â� is printed on the tongue. You can choose between the two color schemes, navy and red which both have white shoe laces and mid sole with black lining. close

Omar Salazar pro model video

As mentioned in the Spring 2010 collection video, Nike SB has also released a video about Omar Salazar’s pro model, dropping in March 2010. It features Omar and James Arizumi explaining the inspiration and design of the shoe, including the use of flywire and TPU rubber under the suede toe cap. With such innovative design features â€" it also boasts removable tongue padding and the zoom air bag integrated into the sole â€" this promises to be a great skate shoe.Watch it hereTim Weissberg close

Redman x adidas Superstar II - Def

As we have previously reported, in honor of the 25th Anniversary of Def Jam the corporate heads have hooked up with adidas to put together a lineup of sneakers, some of which have been designed by artists signed to Def Jam. When it comes to the kicks designed by the artists we have previously taken a look at the Young Jeezy x adidas Forum and the Ghostface Killah x adidas Forum.Adding to the collection is an adidas Superstar II designed by Redman. The sneakers feature a hearty red suede upper with the adidas signature three stripes in black. The toe is white and little specs of red are included on the white outsole that take you back to Redmans debut LP “Whut? Thee Album. The tongue tag sports an image of Redman with his name printed below him in silver and the heel tab features the adidas logo as well as “Funk Doc� in silver. Nike SB – Omar Salazar Pro Model

Did you scope out the Omar Salazar Pro Model during the Nike SB footwear and apparel Spring 2010 preview?  For those upset that Nike didn’t come through with that fresh quilted leather Blazer sample resembling the Supreme Blazers, you might not be so ill-hearted once you get a closer look at Omar and Nike SB’s final product.With much excitement, honor and anticipation for his own signature shoe, Omar put a lot of thought for making today’s ultimate footwear in skateboarding.  Alas, this is the first in the SB line to include Flywire technology, making the shoe a significant amount lighter with maximum heel stability.  For further cushioning, the Zoom Air Bag is integrated directly into the midsole rather than the insoles like all of the other Nike SB’s.  The back of the shoe isn’t getting all of the innovative attention.  Knowing true skaters beat the hell out of the suede overlays of shoes, the toebox is reinforced with TPU rubber to ensure durability and form.  And as if all these weren’t enough- Omar opted for a zippered tongue to making a padded tongue an option.  This might be great for sneakerheads who love the aesthetics of the sh close
