adidas x CLOT – TS (Team Signatur

adidas and Hong Kong based lifestyle brand, CLOT, have collaborated on a new adidas Performance Basketball sneaker, the Team Signature Commander (TS Commander). The shoe was designed by Mark Shin from adidas Basketball and Edison Chen of CLOT. The idea behind collaborating together was to bridge the gap between fashion and technical function. This TS Commander is being called the CLOTarity (CLOT + clarity) as the shoe features a White leather upper with various CLOT graphics and an ice outsole which representes the “decisive clarity of purpose required to rise and become a leader on court”. The shoes will be released exclusively at CLOT’s retail space, Juice, on September 11th, 2009. Both pairs feature varying embossed graphics tying back to local cultural patterns, as the TS Cut Creator comes in black/gold/red and the TS Commander LT in white/grey/ice. They include a sweet detailed box specific to this set. adidas has been making a splash with such collabo’s as the ones with Mighty Healthy and 55DSL. And, you guessed it- they’re at it again. This time, it’s the adidas Team Signature that collaborated with CLOT, which is based out of Hong Kong. The resulting TS Cut Creator comes in a predominantly gold and black colorway with red accents. The TS Commander LT is mostly white, with slight grey and sky blue accents. Now available at CLOT’s online store, both pairs also come in a very nice collector’s edition shoe box.
