Def Jam 25th Anniversary Pack - adi

Def Jam may be solely responsible for our love affair with adidas. I mean sure we would have found them sooner or later in our quest to stay fresh but when Run DMC decided to pen a song about their choice of footwear we were all sold. In commemoration of their 25th Anniversary the label has linked with adidas to produce a few special edition shoes. This Forum is done up in the labels signature black and metallic silver with a touch of embossing on the heel giving it a very clean colorway. Check for these this Fall. Via Kixandthecity close

adidas adidas Forum x Ghostface Kil

Rappers and sneakers have gone hand in hand since Def Jam artists Run DMC rapped about their adidas, so it seems very fitting that the record label that acknowledge hip hops foot fetish give a handful of their marquee artists their own shoe. Ghostface Killah is one of these artists and  the Wu-Tang spittah is represented with a tonal purple forum. The primarily suede upper also has a few leather accents and a white midsole with a gum outsole. With his logo replacing the trefoil on the side and the tongue tag letting you know its Def Jams 25th to round out the shoe these are real stunners. Via Kixandthecity close

adidas adidas Forum x Young Jeezy -

For Def Jam’s 25th Anniversary they chose to give each of their artist a shoe. Granted each artist probably has enough shoes to fill a shoe store but that’s neither here nor there. The legendary record label has linked up with the trefoil to bring us a few limited edition forum. Young Jeezy is bestowed the honor with a black leather and denim upper and green accents with a white midsole. Throw in a fancied up snowman logo and the Def Jam 25 tongue tag and you got a pretty exclusive show. Look for these this fall. Via Kixandthecity close

Young Jeezy x adidas Forum - Fall a

We just showed you the Ghostface Killah x adidas Forum and had mentioned that adidas collaborated with a few Def Jam artists. One of the others who got their chance to work on a design is Young Jeezy, an artist who is a well known adidas endorser.The Young Jeezy x adidas Forum features a predominantly black upper in leather and denim with bright green accents which are nicely placed throughout the sneakers. The sneakers also feature Young Jeezys logo in gold on the ankle of the sneakers and an illustration of Jeezy on the tongue.Watch for the Young Jeezy x adidas Forum to hit select retailers in the coming months as part of the Fall 2009 Collection from adidas. Ghostface Killah x adidas Forum - F

This coming Fall season adidas and Def Jam will release their artist pack collaboration in honor of the 25th anniversary of Def Jam. The pack will includes adidas models which have been design in collaboration with Def Jam artists such as Method Man, Redman, Young Jeezy, and Ghostface Killah. Feature here is a adidas Forum mid designed by Ghostface Killah from the Wu-Tang Clan.The Ghostface Killah x adidas Forum sports an all purple upper made up from nubuck, leather, and suede. A gold foil ‘G’ is included on the side of the upper to mark and an illustration of Ghostface Killah is included on the tongue to mark this official collaboration between adidas and Ghostface. Finishing things off is a white midsole and a gum outsole.The Ghostface Killah x adidas Forum will be hitting select retailers during the Fall of 2009.
