Adidas Phantom II ‘Philadelphia 7

The Adidas Phantom is going places and we mean that literally. We were just regaled by the Chicago Bulls colorway and in just a few days, we are again seeing something that popped out of the blue.We are talking about the Adidas Phantom II ‘Philadelphia 76ersâ€â„¢ sneaker which comes in a deep blue upper to include the shoe laces, tongue and the inner lining. Just like the Chicago Bulls version which came in an innovative three stripe, this sneaker also comes with the same innovative three-stripe with only a difference in color.We are particularly attracted to the blue tongue tag which comes with the 76ers logo. Even the sole of the sneaker comes in blue, with only some parts accented by white. The Adidas leaf logo comes in white and is found on the side panels near the heel panel.We are sure there are more good things and more attractive sneakers to come from the Phantom II series, knowing that it will come in six different versions, each one paying tribute to a particular city. close

adidas Drop Top In Navy & Medium Le

words & images_Nick DePaulaYesterday we brought you the new adidas Drop Top in white/black & black/black, and today we have a look at two more versions of the off-court hoops shoe that will begin releasing this August. In Medium Lead/Royal and Navy/Grey, these versions of the Drop Top take on more color and textures than yesterday’s more basic renditions. Made up of a semi-gloss synthetic rand, nubuck and faux croc skin, the Medium Lead version is set off by its white outsole and hits of royal blue. Along the Navy based version, you’ll find navy patent leather atop the two customizable midfoot straps, as well as a rich reptilian synthetic along the rand that encircles the entire shoe. The Drop Top, seen here in white/black and black/black colorways, features two prominent straps along the midfoot that can be worn down, up or however you may please. The collar can be adjusted to your liking as well in the versatile Drop Top, as it continues the design direction that adidas Basketball has taken recently with less emphasis placed on striping up the midfoot.With a full herringbone outsole and EVA midsole, the Drop Top sits low with its double-lasted construction. Along the white based version you’ll find a combination of patent leather, synthetic leather and perforated leather with hits of black accenting, while the all black colorway features a mix of nubuck, semi-gloss leather and faux croc skin along the midfoot straps. Nike Air III (Kevin Garnett III) -

The Nike Air III to be released this Holiday 2009 season is known to most sneakerheads as the Nike KGIII otherwise known as Kevin Garnett’s third signature shoe from Nike, released a number of years ago when Garnett was still signed to the Swoosh. Nike will be retroing this shoe this Holiday 2009 season have have kept the Retro almost identical to the original, including the use of the fading Blue on the mesh on the shoe’s upper. While Garnett’s name has been taken off the shoe for obvious reason’s not much else has changed regarding the shoe.
