He accomplished what many thought to be impossible, though just narrowly at last evening Men’s Final of Wimbledon. Said to be the longest Set in Wimbledon’s history since 1877, with icons such as Rod Laver, Manuel Santana, Bjorn Borg, Ilie Nastase, and the record holder Pete Sampras looking on,  Roger Federer edged out Andy Roddick 16-14 to take home the Wimbledon Title, his record breaking 15th Grand Slam Title. Both contenders for the Grand Slam Championship Title had much at stake. It was American Andy Roddick’s best finish since 4 years and his opportunity to take home his 2nd Grand Slam Title. As for the world’s #1 player, Roger Federer, it was his chance to re-write the record book and win his 15th Grand Slam title, something unthinkable just a few years ago. After a contentious battle of physical endurance and mental strength, both players had 2 Sets under his belt, with scores 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6. It came down to the Fifth and Final Set, when both escalate their command of slices and spins. Air Jordan III Retro - White - Ceme

Last night, we whet your appetites with a look at what’s to come from Jordan Brand in 2010, and now it’s time to drop perhaps the biggest bombshell yet. In the tradition of recent releases like the Countdown and Defining Moments Packs, another accomplishment from Michael’s career will be honored next year with the Slam Dunk Pack. The pack will contain both pairs of kicks that Mike wore when winning back to back Slam Dunk Contest titles in 1987 and 1988. That means that the OG Air Jordan II from ‘87 and the White/Cement Air Jordan III from ‘88 will both be available in one amazing pack. Jordan Brand’s 2010 line is looking to be a literal slam dunk, as the Air Jordan III (3) Retro White-Cement Grey will return in the Slam Dunk Pack, a two pair release that celebrates MJ’s high flyin’ NBA Dunk Contest victories. The other shoe involved in this already legendary lineup is the Air Jordan II (2) Retro White/Black -Varsity Red.
